What is Combat Focus Shooting?
The Combat Focus Shooting Program is an intuitive shooting program designed by Rob Pincus to work efficiently with the body's natural reactions during a dynamic critical incident.
Unlike many traditional programs, CFS does not take a purely mechanical approach to shooting training in isolation from the context in which the skill must be used.
CFS is not simply "point shooting," it is a training methodology that leads to more efficient defensive shooting skill.
Combat Focus Shooting is the core program of the I.C.E. Training Company and is being taught by certified instructors around the United States and Europe.
CFS has been successfully integrated into various military and law enforcement training programs and is the most efficient way for anyone interested defensive firearms skills to develop their abilities.

CCW Enchantment Course (Based off of Combat Focus Shooting Program). I took this class 7/20/14. Defensive Pistol Education at it's best. Clear, concise, intense and focused class, given by an exceptional instructor(s). Individual attention along with group focused lectures, interspersed throughout the day, and debriefing afterwards, insures that you will learn more in this class than any other you might have taken. (I know). Mandy and Stan did an excellent job of instructing and pointing out flaws along with suggestions to improve my understanding of defensive shooting techniques. This class is not for babies. Come prepared and ready to work.
I will be back for more!

I'd never handled a gun, didn't really know what to expect and was, frankly, a little frightened at the whole idea. Mandy was recommended by a trusted authority and I liked the idea of learning from another woman. She was thorough, professional and, above all, patient. She understood my fears, explained exactly what to expect, and encouraged me every step of the way. It took less than an hour and I was so much more secure and having a great time! GunLady is an excellent instructor and I look forward to my next sessions!

My husband and I just purchased guns for the first time. My husband has shot before, years ago, but I have never. I didn't want guns in the house and not be able to shoot them. I also wanted to get proper instruction for the use of the gun and safety. Mandy came highly recommend! She was an excellent instructor! She really makes you feel comfortable, even when I was making the same mistake over and over, she kept encouraging me. Instructing the right way of doing things over and over. Thank God she has patients! By the end of the lesson I felt a 1000 times better. Not to mention, It was fun!!!

Code of the Professional Defensive Shooting Instructors
1. I am committed to the safety of my students, and hold that the expected benefit of any training activity must significantly outweigh any known or perceived risk of that activity.
2. I believe that it is my responsibility to understand not just what I’m teaching, but WHY I’m teaching any technique or concept, or offering specific advice.
3. I recognize that defensive shooting skills, along with the drills and gear used, are inherently specialized and usually distinct from those of target shooting, competition and hunting endeavors.
4. I will encourage my students to ask questions about course material, and I will answer them with thorough and objective explanations.
5. I understand that Integrity and Professionalism are subjective traits and I strive to maintain high levels of both. I am capable of, and willing to, articulate the reasons for the way I conduct my courses and how I interact with students & peers.
6. I believe that it is valuable to engage my peers in constructive conversation about differences in technique and concept, with the goal of mutual education and evolution.
7. I believe that the best instructor is an avid student, and I will strive to continually upgrade my own skills and knowledge. As part of this belief, I understand that my own teachings need to be subject to critique and open to evolution.
